Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

ensure you park safely in school zones
follow speed signs
do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.

Sandpit Gate (cul-de-sac on Bloomfield Street)

The cul-de-sac at sandpit gate is a kiss and drop zone. The intention is that drivers do not wait in these zones and that they stay in the vehicle so that drop off is streamlined and traffic queues are minimised. Maximum of 2 minutes in the kiss & drop zone.

Front Gate (Bloomfield Street)

Parents are able to park in the Church car park on the street. Students wait in the chill out zone sent out by the teachers on duty. Parents are required to walk to the gate to collect their child.

Hall Gate (Elgin Street)

Parents are able to park on Elgin street (infront of the counsel building) or the car park (adjacent to Mitre 10 car park). Students wait in the shade and teacher on duty will send them out. Parents are required to walk to the gate to collect their child.
